Guitartricks - How to Play - Death Letter Blues (Son House)

In this song tutorial, Anders Mouridsen is going to teach you "Death Letter Blues" , by Son House. After a song synopsis and looking at the tone and tuning, Anders will plunge into breaking the main intro riff. What's happening while playing the I chord is next, followed by the details of playing the IV and V chords. The Anders will show the whole 12 bar progression, and the ending of the song. Last, we'll do a play along performance.

This is Delta blues in its purest form, and it's a ton of fun to play. Son House was the guitar player Robert Johnson looked up to when he was learning to play, and it's not hard to see why. This is pure emotion channeled through the guitar using some very simple tools like the slide, the open tuning, and the aggressive finger strumming.

In this tutorial I'll show you how to play this song like you hear it on the record, and after getting into the open tuning, we're gonna breakdown the intro riff which is repeated throughout the whole song whenever there's a break in the vocals.

I'm gonna show you how to play the IV chord with the combination of the slide on your fingers. I'll show the same thing for the V chord, and finally we're gonna break down the awesome ending.

We're gonna talk about how to imitate the tone and attitude and much more. The song is in 4/4 and the tempo varies throughout the song, so let's get to work on it!

"Ruby Tuesday" as made famous by The Rolling Stones is a classic tune with a basic chord progression played on an acoustic guitar and fleshed out by an orchestral arrangement.

Anders will show you how to play this classic tune on an acoustic guitar. The original only had a 12-string acoustic playing during the chorus. Anders will show you how to adapt that part for a regular 6-string acoustic. There's a part that fits with the orchestral part, but can also stand on its own if you ever want to play this song by yourself.

This song is in the key of C, in 4/4 time at a tempo of 106 BPM.

Guitartricks - How to Play - Under The Milky Way (The Church)

Mike will show you the 3 guitars in this song. Guitar 1 is an acoustic guitar that lays a steady strumming foundation for the tune. Guitar 2 is a clean electric guitar that adds some strums and arpeggiations to help build the arrangement. Guitar 3 is a crunch electric guitar that plays some vibey lead guitar.

The tune starts out with the acoustic establishing the groove by strumming the verse progression. The chorus progression is simpler but stays at the same dynamic. The arrangement also features a bridge and an extended outro that features some spacey lead guitar approaches.

We're including a bonus lesson that teaches an alternate way to play the acoustic parts with a capo.

In the following lessons, we'll talk about open and extended chords, arpeggiated motifs, steady acoustic strumming, and some vibey lead guitar approaches. We are in the key ofA minor, with a 4/4 time signature, at a tempo of 136 BPM.

c) We apply Stochastic Optimization to Finance. Specifically we build a Portfolio Optimization model. We use FICO and GAMS software tools.

d) We learn the differences between deterministic and stochastic optimization. The code is significantly different in these two versions of optimization.

e) We conduct sensitivity analyses on stochastic optimization problems.

The entire FICO and GAMS code, and complementary material used in this course, are all available to download.

Retro Robot 2/3: Baking and Texturing in Substance Painter

When it comes to most 3D art, it all begins with a piece of concept art. Something you drew up yourself, a piece of art you found online, or perhaps one given to you at work.

In this series of classes, we'll be starting with a simple shaded drawing of a retro sci-fi themed robot. With the concept art at hand, you'll begin interpreting and translating it to 3D as faithfully as you can. Then add additional details to fill in the gaps left by the concept art.

Choose your own materials and colors, decals and weathering effects to bring the 3D art closer to life. Hook it up to a simple rig and give a dramatic pose, then top it off with equality dramatic lighting. Finally, render out the final image.

By the end of this project, you'll have brought a flat 2D concept art to life as a fully realized 3D art.

Retro Robot 3/3: Posing and Rendering in Blender 2.9

When it comes to most 3D art, it all begins with a piece of concept art. Something you drew up yourself, a piece of art you found online, or perhaps one given to you at work.

In this series of classes, we'll be starting with a simple shaded drawing of a retro sci-fi themed robot. With the concept art at hand, you'll begin interpreting and translating it to 3D as faithfully as you can. Then add additional details to fill in the gaps left by the concept art.

Choose your own materials and colors, decals and weathering effects to bring the 3D art closer to life. Hook it up to a simple rig and give a dramatic pose, then top it off with equality dramatic lighting. Finally, render out the final image.

By the end of this project, you'll have brought a flat 2D concept art to life as a fully realized 3D art.

When I first started my journey to understand 3D modeling on Solidworks. It took me a while to really get to know the basics that goes into 3D modelling of military aircrafts. Because there isn't much tutorials on it. Therefore, I will take this opportunity to give you a well detailed course.
