Our menubar and dropdown menus are now localised for Arabic, Catalan, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Portuguese (Portugal), Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, and Ukrainian.

CPU & GPU
Realtime CPU graphs and a list of the top 5 CPU resource hogs. CPU usage can be tracked by individual cores or with all cores combined, to save menubar space. Plus, GPU memory and processor usage on supported Macs, and the active GPU can be shown in the menubar.

Memory
Memory stats for your menubar as a pie chart, graph, percentage, bar or any combination of those things. Opening the menu shows a list of the apps using the most memory, and other useful info.

Network
A realtime graph to keep on top of what's being sent and received for all network connections, including a bandwidth breakdown for the top 5 apps.

Disk usage & activity
See used and free space for multiple disks in your menubar. S.M.A.R.T. status monitoring and more detail for all your disks is only a click away. Detailed disk I/O in your menubar, displayed as a graph, a variety of different read and write indicators, or both.

Sensors
Realtime listings of the sensors in your Mac, including temperatures, hard drive temperatures (where supported), fans, voltages, current and power. Fan speeds can be controlled, with different rules when on battery power, if you'd like.

Date & time
A highly configurable date, time and calendar for your menubar, including fuzzy clock and moon phase. Open iStat Menus' calendar to display upcoming events, or events for any day. Plus, a world clock with sunrise, sunset, moonrise and moonset times for over 120,000 cities.

Battery & power
Detailed info on your battery's current state and a highly configurable menu item that can change if you're draining, charging, or completely charged. Plus, Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad and Apple wireless keyboard battery levels.

About NI LabView 2017. LabVIEW 2017 is the feature-rich version that supports all the features and platforms that developers have come to know and love. This includes targeting FPGAs and embedded systems as well as test-and-measurement hardware like NI's CompactRIO. The user interface is maintained so users of LabVIEW 2016 and earlier version will be quite comfortable with LabVIEW 2017. LabVIEW 2017 and LabVIEW NXG use a common G language compiler.

The Labview 2017 user interface (UI) will look familiar. There is improved control customization as well as enhanced editing and viewing improvements. The LabVIEW Cloud Toolkit for AWS connects LabVIEW applications to Amazon Web Services (AWS).

One feature is the ability to create a channel wire. This is part of the improvements in LabVIEW 2017 to simplify abstract programming tasks. Channel-wire support for FPGAs provides an asynchronous communication support for user-defined malleable virtual instruments (VIs) that can then perform actions without creating including additional logic connections.

One item on the horizon is the "SystemLink" Early Access Release that is designed to deliver remote system monitoring, software deployments, and data communications for LabVIEW applications. This will allow management and deployment of large, distributed systems.

By the way, LabVIEW 2017 and LabVIEW NXG come in the same box. Developers can use both as desired. As noted, there are functional differences between the two so developers may wind up working with one or the other depending upon the projects. LabVIEW 2017 lacks some of the ease-of-use features found in LabVIEW NXG, but LabVIEW 2017 provides access to all targets and add-ons currently available where LabVIEW NXG handles a subset.

PTC has released Creo 2.0 M250 is the most robust and versatile parametric solid modeling solution for Computer Aided Design. For those still clinging to Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 5, it may have just the right gleam to get you past the rebranding/restructuring brought out with Creo 1.0.

PTC made a huge noise about the launch of Creo, how it was promising a revolution in 3D modelling tools for design and engineering. The reality is that Creo is more an evolution of the existing Pro/E, CoCreate and ProductView products. Both are merging into a new set of tools that are based on the power of capability of Pro/E, but with some of the advantages of direct modelling from the CoCreate product set.

The Creo 2.0 release shows that the promise is being fulfilled and the work is being done to bring greater direct modelling tools, both into the core parametric environment with Flex Modelling and FreeStyle, but also in the Creo Direct standalone application.

Those looking for a complete overhaul of the existing user experiences are going to be a little disappointed. This still looks and feels like Pro/E, albeit with a ribbon-style interface. Is that a good thing? Well, that depends on your perspective.

Experienced Pro/E users will be happy with how things are progressing. The core interaction elements and workflow remain the same and the commands and operations are very neatly and sensibly organised into separate tabs. But, if you're looking at the system from the purview of another system, then things might still look a little arcane.
