Pass Microsoft Tests and Get Certified!
Video: .mp4 (1280x720, 30 fps(r)) | Audio: aac, 44100 Hz, 2ch | Size: 459 MB
Genre: eLearning Video | Duration: 35 lectures (5 hour, 5 mins) | Language: English
Test taking skills for IT certs like MCSA, MCSE and CompTIA that can improve scores making certs easier and cheaper.

What you'll learn

By the end of this course you will have learned how to refine the way you study for Microsoft exams and have mastered critical test taking skills that will improve your scores and pass rates on computer based technical exams.

Requirements

There are no requirements for this course. Everything is self contained. You should have some basic technical knowledge and be actively studying or intending to study for an IT exam; Microsoft, CompTIA, even project management exam takers will benefit. The course focuses on networking but the concepts hold true for programmers, project managers and many other topics. A general understanding if Windows operating systems would be helpful but not required. As the course focuses on test taking skills that can be applied to multiple vendors, any technical background is suitable and it does not require any hardware or software.

Description

This course helps students improve test taking skills for IT certification exams.

The course is divided into three parts:

Study habits - coaches students in how to streamline studying for IT courses to develop a "knowledge pool" of information that can be used during the exam and for practical application.
DNS - teaches DNS allowing us to have a shared knowledge pool to use when discussing test taking techniques. It also helps students refine their understanding of how to apply study habits.
Test taking techniques - multiple techniques for addressing various types of multiple choice and interactive exam questions in order to maximize testing scores to achieve higher results and pass exams more efficiently so that certification is faster and less costly.

The course is mostly video content. It should take between four to five hours to complete.

This course is aimed at anyone who is studying for IT certifications. It should be of great benefit to anyone studying for certs such as MCSA, MCSE or CompTIA certifications (Listen to "Target Audience" and "Introduction" free preview for more information.) Having a firm grasp of the material is not always a good indicator of whether you will pass an IT test. Test taking skills can dramatically improve your chances of success. This course is suitable for any student intending to take a technology exam that is predominantly focused on multiple choice answers and some interactive questions such as Microsoft exams, CompTIA, PMP etc. It would not be helpful for students taking predominantly performance based tests such as test requiring you to actually configure the software during the exam.

Who this course is for:

Technical professionals wishing to obtain certifications for job advancement.
Career changers who wish to obtain certifications to succesfully obtain technical employment.

'Worthy of Ten Stars' (thanks Diane)
Learn the fundamental principles and advanced concepts of using off-camera flash to take stunning portraits. This is a very comprehensive, practical photography course that covers everything you need to know.

Learn how to create beautiful light using small flashes.

Follow me on 19 photo shoots, indoors and out
Take stunning images on a small budget and in a small room.
Learn the easy steps to getting your flash off your camera
Discover the inexpensive equipment you need, with links to the gear
Learn what modifiers do, and how they can make a significant difference.
Understand the various triggering methods and which one suits you best

Be amazed at the results from my 'bonus' product photo shoot using a DIY box
A powerful skill at your fingertips
Advanced and professional photographers do not generally use any of the semi-automatic modes (e.g Aperture / Shutter Speed priority etc..) when shooting in a studio environment. This course will demonstrate why, and show you just how easy it is to use Manual modes for consistent exposures and how it can aid the learning process.
Content and Overview - Downloads are ENABLED for this course!
The course goes right back to basics, but also covers advanced topics. You'll learn about the equipment, what to buy and what not to buy if on a tight budget. It demonstrates how to put the gear together, how to modify it, and shows various ways of triggering the flashes, Exposure is covered in great details, with one video on each of the 5 aspects of exposure.
Come with me on these photo sessions, and watch as I talk through the camera and flash settings and take (mostly) great photos with (mostly) gorgeous models, using a fun teaching style.
A bonus video on product photography is included, a DIY setup that can provide spectacular results. Great for eBay or just making some money on the side.
Designed for beginners (although not complete beginners), through to enthusiasts and professionals, on completing this course you'll have the knowledge and confidence to start taking beautifully lit portraits that will wow your family and friends.
Modesty almost forbids me publishing some comments about my teaching style, taken from reviews of some of my other courses, but I overcame that, so here they are:-
Bernie is really easy to listen to, and his videos were really entertaining and kept you listening. (I also like his accent!)
Many online courses suffer from over prepared, monotonic boring voice overs but Bernie's style is a bit like having your mate round to show you how to do something. This even goes to leaving some bloopers in which makes it human and fun.
Bernie is a hoot! He knows his material, presents it well, and is witty to boot. It's a great combination in a teacher.
I love Bernie's approach. Such a great instructor,
Bernie is an excellent teacher and his enthusiasm for photography is contagious.
Bernie is a fantastic tutor,
Love it, love it, love it!!

Who this course is for:
Not suited for beginners who have only just purchased a camera
Suitable for beginners who are familiar with their camera, through to advanced and pro photographers

Learn English language vocabulary, English Grammar, English Expressions, and culture using stories

What you'll learn

You can improve your English Speaking skills.
You can practice your English Listening skills.
You can learn English Grammar.
You can learn English Vocabulary.

Requirements

Have at least a beginner-level knowledge of English

Description

Hi! I'm Dr. Don, an English professor who focuses on teaching English to non-native speakers.

Are you interested in improving your English language skills? Do you want to improve your spoken English? Do you want to be able to read stories in English, watch movies in English, or listen to music in English? If so, you might find my Three Way English program helpful. I've taken a story-based approach to learning English that has been around for awhile and adapted it to an online learning environment.

In this course, I take you through a short, easy-to-understand story three different ways. First, I present the story at a very basic English level so that even beginners can understand. Then I present the story twice more with increasing difficulty. The third time through, you will be able to understand the story presented in native-level English.

After introducing you to the story, I have several lessons that use the story to expand your understanding of English. You will learn English vocabulary words, English grammar structures, and common English expressions. In my experience, students who learn English in context like this find the information easier to remember and use. At the end of the course, I have a lesson on some cultural insights that you can gain from the story.

All the lessons are presented in English spoken slowly and carefully by a native speaker. Check out the Introduction video for a sample.
