Define Carbon Credits
Describe Pros and Cons of Carbon Trading
List Kyoto Protocol mechanisms
Requirements
This is a beginner level course that focuses on market-based mechanisms in place for controlling greenhouse gas emissions. You do not need any prior knowledge or experience on the subject.
Description
This course is*approved for 0.5 GBCI Continuation Education (CE) credits.Global warming is one of the biggest environmental crisis we are facing today. Human activities such as energy production, transportation, manufacturing, construction etc lead to carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions which is causing climate change. Global efforts for mitigation resulted in an international agreement called the Kyoto Protocol, which sets limits on the amount of emissions for different countries. Developed economies have more stringent targets than developing countries.
In addition of national efforts by countries, Kyoto has introduced a market based mechanism to push efforts towards emission reductions. This had led to the creation of a carbon market, where carbon is traded just like any other commodity, helping balance the net carbon emissions globally. So is this the right approach to greenhouse gas mitigation? This course will provide plenty of fodder for you to answer this question. It will in detail the background and the three mechanisms that are helping maintain the carbon balance.
While the course explains the content in detail, you are expected to be familiar with concepts of global warming and climate change and associated terms such as greenhouse gases and emissions.
The course is designed in modules with engaging content and detailed case studies, providing you with a learning experience that's fun and insightful at the same time. At the end of the course, you will be able to discuss whether the mechanisms at present are truly good for the environment.

User Functions
In addition to the available app methods and the methods provided by the app views, app dialogs, app frames, the Apache Cordova plugins methods, and, all the possible controls that you can use, its also possible to setup your own User Functions in order to be available for your app at runtime.
Auto scale apps
There are many themes availables for your app, and, you can also set the fixed and scaled styles, even at runtime. The auto scale style made the app properly show in different screen sizes.
Whats New
* Some minor changes has been made in some DecSoft App Builder controls in order to avoid some warnings while debugging our apps using the new "builder.debug.min.js" file. The same minor changes has been made also in some of the DecSoft app plugins included out of the box with the product.
* This release of the product incorporates a "builder.debug.min.js" file which is used while we are debugging our apps (F9). This file contains the non production versions of the VueJS, VueJS Router and Pinia libraries, which offers to us valuable information (in the internal developer console or any other browser developer console) while debugging our apps. This file is automatically used now by our apps when we are debugging it. On the other hand, the "builder.min.js" file, which contains the production versions of the referred libraries, is the one used when we build our apps (CTRL + F9) in order to be published, for example. This improvement in the product can be very useful while debugging our apps, since the non production versions of the referred libraries offers to us valuable information while debugging our apps.

CrystalDiffract 6.9.4.300 (x64)

CrystalDiffract 6.9.4.300 (x64)
File size: 29 MB

CrystalDiffract brings the world of x-ray & neutron powder diffraction to your computer screen, with interactive control and easy characterization of your experimental data. Real-time parameter controls let you experiment with diffraction and sample settings, with instant feedback. Combine these with instant mixture creation - and the ability to load observed data in the same window - and you have a powerful workbench application for researchers, teachers and students.

Diffraction at Your Fingertips
CrystalDiffract provides powerful x-ray and neutron powder diffraction simulation capabilities: but is quick and easy to use. Choose one of four preset simulation types: constant-wavelength X-rays, neutrons; energy-dispersive X-rays; or time-of-flight neutrons. Multi-processing allows for fast profile simulation, and real-time adjustment of diffraction and sample parameters: placing you firmly in control of your diffraction experiment.

Analyze Experimental Data
CrystalDiffract lets you import multiple experimental datasets for comparison with simulated data: just drag-and-drop text files into your diffraction window. You can manipulate and rescale your observed data, apply real-time smoothing and background corrections - and then use the innovative screen tools to measure your observed pattern. Compare with simulated patterns to check for purity - or attempt a phase identification.

Drag-and-Drop Mixture Simulation
CrystalDiffract lets you simulate multi-phase mixtures simply by dragging-and-dropping patterns into a mixture group. You can adjust mixture compositions in real time, using the mixture slider and text controls in the Parameters List. Additional controls let you lock the mixture total or reset components to zero, for easy manual editing of phase proportions.
Simulated mixtures can be displayed alongside the individual patterns from their components! Just use the visibility checkboxes in the Patterns List to customize your display.

Gorgeous Graphics to Go
CrystalDiffract 6 provides the most beautiful displays, which you can easily copy to other programs in high-resolution vector format: copy to the clipboard, drag-and-drop into other programs, or save to file.
You have extensive control over the display, including pattern colours, line and marker sizes/styles, transparency, shadows, peak overlays, gridlines, film styles and colours, peak labels (including content, positioning and alignment), Legend display, plot title - plus your text fonts and sizes.

CrystalMaker X 10.8.1.300 (x64)

CrystalMaker X 10.8.1.300 (x64)
File size: 270 MB

CrystalMaker is the most-efficient way to visualize crystal and molecular structures. Its interactive design lets you "see the wood for the trees" and build your own visual understanding of complex materials. CrystalMaker transcends traditional crystallography software, letting you create dynamical visualizations with rotatable animations. Energy-modelling tools let you design and relax new structures, predict their vibrational properties, and explore how they interface with other materials.

CrystalMaker provides a streamlined workflow that majors on productivity: just drag-and-drop your data files into the program for instant display in spectacular photo-realistic colour. Manipulate structures in real time, with the mouse. Multiple View "bookmarks" and undo levels encourage exploration and discovery - ideal for teaching and research.

Integrated Structures Library - Now Add Your Own
CrystalMaker X includes an integrated structures library with 1000+ structures: annotated, indexed and with previews - ready for immediate display. The library includes all the major rock-forming minerals (350+ structures), plus important inorganic and organic crystals and molecules: from buckyballs to zeolites, and from dental ceramics to high-Tc superconductors. Also included is a teaching library of crystal-chemical type structures, plus thematic libraries covering topics as diverse as chemical warfare, medicinal chemistry, food flavourings and more.

You can browse structures in the Library Browser, by folder, or flat view or simply browse by selecting a thumbnail and watching a rotating structure with notes. This isn't just a static library: you can add your own content, grouping structures into folders and taking advantage of CrystalMaker's powerful search capabilities: search by filename, notes or chemical formula.

Comprehensive Data Import & Export
Whilst the built-in libraries are great for teaching, researchers will want to visualize their own data - and they can! CrystalMaker X lets you import structural data from 40 different formats: with instant display and powerful customization. CrystalMaker can handle including multi-structure files such as DL_POLY HISTORY - use CrystalMaker's synchronization and animation capabilities to rapidly understand structural behaviour, lattice dynamics, or visualize the trajectory of a simulation. CrystalMaker X can also handle truly massive structures. Take advantage of our unique "Depth Profiling" tool, to rapidly scan ares of interest in massive structures - ideal for characterizing the results from computer models.

Build New Crystals & Molecules Fast!
With CrystalMaker you can build any kind of crystal or molecular structure - quickly and easily. Built-in symmetry handling and the elegant spacegroup browser takes the slog out of crystallography, and the program will automatically generate all your bonds and polyhedra. Molecule building is even easier: point-and-click to add atoms and bonds. Use the new Relax command to minimize energy and optimize your structure.

CrystalMaker provides a wide range of model types, including traditional "ball-and-stick", space-filling, polyhedral, wireframe and thermal ellipsoids. Each model type can be extensively customized, with the option of photo-realistic graphics or simpler, line-art display. CrystalMaker allows continuous plot range settings for millions of atoms, bonds and polyhedra.
