GibbsCAM is a system for the automated preparation of programs for CNC machine tools, combining ease of use and functional power.
Basic functionality of the system can be extended by adding custom modules. The intuitive user interface provides easy access to the control functions geometry, tool, track, verification and post-processing. Flexible programming techniques allow you to quickly create the optimal program. Well-established treatment processes can be saved and re-applied using the knowledge base. Modeling functions help prepare the geometry for the needs of processing by creating a wireframe, surface and solid geometry. Built-in material removal simulation accurately represents the entire process, showing how the time variation of the geometry of the workpiece, and all possible collision. The result of the calculation can be compared with the initial geometry of the model, finding material residues or desperately. Full associativity between geometry, process parameters and trajectories allows you to quickly change the model and the processing parameters and automatically receive the corrected trajectory. The system is certified for use with Windows� 7, Windows Vista (SP1 or SP2), Windows XP (SP2 or SP3), Windows Server 2008 or 2003.
